An evening of Wine and Song
Tuesday 19th September

As part of the arts festival, there will be a wonderful unique evening of wine tasting, wonderful music with canapes, olives and local cheeses at Croots Farm Shop.

Spoken Word and Poetry
Wednesday 20th September

We are so pleased to announce that Word Wise featuring Jamie Thrasivoulou will be putting on a great evening of Spoken Word and Poetry on Wednesday 20th September from 7pm at The White Hart.

The evening will feature a workshop, an open mic session and then some special guests. FREE ADMISSION!

2017 Arts Festival Opening and Award Event
Friday 22nd September

A real family event!

The second Duffield Arts Festival will have its official opening with singing, fun and many an award for all the incredible arts. The wonderful and contagious Andy Cope will be delighting the audience with his fantastically motivational stories.The awards for short stories, art and photography will be given at the event. It is going to be a brilliant event.

You will go home thinking, wow that was fantastic!

Live at the Pattenmakers Bar
Saturday 23rd September

Featuring live music in the bar at the Pattenmakers Arms. An eclectic mix of blues to pop played by a range of talented local artists outside of their normal band or ex-band context.

Chris Moody and the Underground Kings

The distinctive and extremely talented Christopher Moody & The Underground Kings​ will be performing at this year's Duffield Arts Festival on Saturday 23rd  September.

Duffield Singing Spectacular
Saturday 23rd September

A truly incredible event where three choirs will come together to celebrate Duffield, music, and life!

Three choirs will perform on the same evening including Derby A Capella.

Jim Fearn, singer, and compere will keep proceedings bustling along. There will music to suit everyone.

This will be a truly be an amazing experience. Refreshments will be available.

Past Times Quilling Workshop

We are delighted to announce Past Times Quilling will be coming back again this year with a workshop on the Sunday morning. If you want to learn a new craft, this really is a great one to do!

Beate Toyka's Music-a-thon

We are really pleased to announce that again as part of Duffield Arts Festival the renowned pianist, teacher and chamber musician, Beate Toyka will be leading on an exciting interactive session

An Evening with Dana De Waal
Sunday 24th September

Dana de Waal is a singer of exceptional musicianship, warmth, style and character. The startling agility of his voice along with musicality and stamina have delighted audiences in countries as far apart as Bophuthatswana, Germany, Botswana, The Czech Republic, South Africa, and the United States and also in the UK since relocating here more than sixteen years ago.

Accompanied by his wife Anne on the piano and daughter Xephni Butler on the African Djembe, Dana uses this combination to bind together through song, melody, harmony and rhythm, the magic that is undeniably based in their African roots.

Sit back and be prepared to be enriched and leave here a different person after their spellbinding performance!
