Belper Art Group 
We are welcoming back the Belper Art Group, who last year showed the iconic image of a First World War soldier which had been designed by Andy Mayer – one of this year’s individual exhibiting artists.  This year they are showing a number of individual works brought together in a group display.

Derbyshire Embroiderers’ Guild
The Guild is displaying members’ work, and demonstration of embroidery techniques with a chance for both adults and children to get stitching! **

Full Grown
Full Grown are a bio-technology company led by designer Gavin Munro and based in Derbyshire. They are at the cutting edge of an emerging art form, an art form that highlights an interesting way to be closer to art and nature and to create symbiotic abundance for both. They will be showing a chair and a lamp which are grown and harvested from living willow trees, as well as well as images of other completed objects.

At The Methodists Church Hall

The Amber Painting Group and Allestree Art Group are again holding their Annual Exhibitions with us at the festival.  The exhibition will be of paintings from members of these well established, talented local groups. Varied subjects and media. Lots to see and buy.

Open studios

This year there are four venues showing the work of eight artists.

Wendy Tate and Margaret Allton
24 Duffield Court, Chapel St. Duffield DE56 4EQ   
Wendy and Margaret are hugely experienced painters and teachers and are returning to the festival after a great show last year. Oils, Pastels and Watercolours exhibited. They say “Come and see what we do!”

Patsy and Alice Kell and Ruth
4 Chapel St, Duffield
Garage open as an art gallery of paintings, crafts, and photography. There will be an opportunity for children and adults to do some colour work. Mornings only 10-1pm

Lizzie Brown Cartwright
45 Hazelwood Road, Duffield
Painter Lizzie says” Granny in a van travelling the UK sketching, photographing then translating to canvas in the studio will be showing paintings from those travels.”

Images of wild horses of which she says this is “the art I am most passionate about - to my mind the purest expression of power in movement - my goal - capturing an essence of what it is to be alive”.
