Myths, Legends, and Fairy Tales
The 2023 Duffield Scarecrow Trail was the seventh held in the village… but was the first year where the Duffield scarecrows were joined by scarecrows in the neighbouring village of Hazelwood!
The theme was ‘Myths, Legends and Fairytales’, which meant we welcomed a host of strange and fabulous creatures into the villages, including the Abominable Snowman, Merlin the Wizard and Medusa, alongside some familiar figures from childhood stories, such as Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and Peter Pan.
