Once again Duffield and Hazelwood will be awash with lots of wonderful scarecrow creations, and this year we will be celebrating the 10th year of our annual scarecrow and plan to make the 2026 event our biggest one yet.
The theme for the 2026 Scarecrow Trail is….
‘When I Grow Up!’
And this year it is for absolutely everyone.
Whether you are still growing up, well and truly grown up, or somewhere in between, this theme is all about dreams, inspiration and the people we become.
It could be:
- What you wanted to be as a child
- A pop star, performer or celebrity you admired
- A sportsperson or sporting hero
- A job you always dreamed of doing
- A vet, teacher, astronaut, firefighter or business owner
- An artist, inventor or explorer
- Or simply the kind of person you hoped to grow into
Maybe you are still dreaming. Maybe you are living the dream. Maybe your idea of growing up has changed over the years.
However you interpret it, we would love to see your imagination brought to life in scarecrow form.
