Duffield Christmas Windows 2026

Let’s light up Duffield with positivity and cheer for Christmas!

This December, we’re inviting homes, shops and businesses across the village to decorate a window and help make Duffield sparkle. From 1st December, the windows will brighten up the darker evenings and give everyone a reason to get out, take a stroll and enjoy the festive spirit together.

You don’t need to be an artist to take part. Your window doesn’t have to be grand or perfectly polished; it’s all about joining in and having fun. Whether it’s fairy lights, paper snowflakes, a nativity scene, a favourite Christmas character or something the children have made, every window adds to the magic. Simple, homemade and heartfelt is just as welcome as big and bold.

There’s something lovely about walking around the village on a winter’s evening and spotting the windows lit up along the way. It brings neighbours together, gives families something to enjoy, and reminds us all what a special community we live in.

To help everyone find them, we’ll be creating a map showing where all the windows are, so you can plan your own festive trail around Duffield.

Want to take part? Just fill in the form on this page to let us know your window will be joining in, and we’ll add you to the map.

Let’s make this Christmas the brightest yet!
