Now here’s a great event locally at Croots Farm Shop & Cafe.

Robin of Shire Bushcraft will be delivering some really engaging Bushcraft sessions on Saturday 18th May. Sessions cost £20 per person and are for ages 7 and up. You can book your place online.

The sessions will cover a range of topics such as traditional firelighting, greenwood carving, camp cooking, and learning about useful trees and plants.

Robin has been a student of the outdoors for over 20 years. He has journeyed and adventured across the country (as well as the wider world) studying and developing his skillset and has been teaching the subject of Bushcraft since 2016.

Robin has worked alongside Ray Mears on many of his courses, as well as other excellent instructors here in the UK. He has engaged with people of all ages, abilities and behaviours, from a variety of social backgrounds, inspiring them to enjoy and appreciate the forest and the outdoor environment. Robin also worked for The Forestry Commission as a Bushcraft Ranger for two years, where he taught bushcraft knowledge and traditional forest skills to a hugely diverse range of audiences.
