Duffield Arts Festival to become a Community Interest Company
Posted on
Duffield Arts Festival has announced that it is to change from a not-for-profit organisation to a Community Interest Company (CIC). The change to a CIC will allow us to access grants and funding opportunities.
Our mission remains the same as when we set up Duffield Arts Festival in 2016. It is “To foster community spirit, creativity, and fun by transforming our village into a vibrant showcase of imagination. We aim to bring neighbours together and create joyful experiences for all ages, making lasting memories while supporting and strengthening our community.”
We are so pleased that the Duffield and Hazelwood Scarecrow Trail is a special annual event, where so many brilliant people in the village are involved in. Also, the Scarecrow Tea is enjoyed by the scarecrow makers.
We also have some new big ideas that becoming a CIC will help us with.
This year we are raising funds for two charities nominated by the village, details will be announced this week.
